We always use here for our food when we have a takeaway at work. The lady behind the counter is welcoming and funny. Food is always great!

Incredibly suprised by the taste, a lot better than I thought after hearing from other people, I was running late they held my order, and only when I got there, they started to make it for me, it was nice to leave with really hot food. Plus your chips are fabulous.

As a newcomer to Aldridge and already eaten at most of the Indian restaurants, it was time to give the Chinese a go. I was assured that Hong Kong Cantonese was very good. Was advised not to phone, if not too far away just turn up but be prepared for a wait, particularly on a Friday or Saturday evening. Have to say, first impressions are very important, and was pleased to see a five star hygiene rating. On entering, again very impressed with the cleanliness of the customer area. This is extremely important. S, to the food review. Not important what i had, but i have to say, this is arguably the best Chinese take away i have had since the take away closed down at the Maypole in the 90s. The food was hot, very well cooked, good portions and very tasty. The young lady on reception was very efficient considering the constant pressure she was under dealing with walk ins, answering the telephone, and fetching the orders from the kitchen. So, yes five stars at this point of time and richly deserved.

You know a place is great when all the negative reviews are about waiting times and no delivery. I discovered this place about nine months ago and I'll never look back. In short, this is without a doubt the cleanest, freshest Chinese food I've ever eaten. Even the vegetables in the Singapore noodles are crunchy and never soggy or destroyed by oil. I travel 25 minutes each way to get the food and take a thermal bag to keep the food hot. The quality is always excellent and so far, I've not had one bad experience. Well done Hong Kong Cantonese, keep it up!!

I've lived in Aldridge for 21 years and this is my go to place for a decent Chinese take away. The owners are a lovely family and will go the extra mile to tailor dishes of there's something you don't like or can't eat. Yes they are very busy, but this is down to the quality of the food! I would always recommend phoning your order in in advance but if you're ordering chips (or other crispy things) then arrive a little early as they will only cook them when you arrive to collect so they're at their best.
